I found writing the story easy because I like writing story's. Something I found hard was making the scene interesting because I didn't want to do the same as everybody else. My next steps are to focus harder and get my work done faster.

 I found this activity easy because I learnt to do improper fractions before I did this activity. I found answering the guys question hard because I didn't understand him. My next steps are to get harder fractions.

I found this easy because I already knew the math, I found putting them into groups hard because I didn't under stand it properly. My next steps are to learn about this more and understand it.

August Character Visualisation

WALT visualise a character by using the description language to create a picture.
 I this task I had to listen carefully to the description of August by his sister, Via and then draw him like he is described in the book.
I think It was hard because it isn't what I draw every day.
My next step is to make it look better.

I think was easy because I like to write stories. I found this working with somebody challenging because I like to work alone. My next step is to work more with people and combine their ideas with mine.

W.A.L.T summarise the key events and character decisions that influence the outcome of the story.

I fond this activity easy but it was very long. the bit that was hard is the summarising in 25 words.

In term 3 we had Japanese students  come to Elm park school to spend a day it was fun to see what they do in japan. This activity is called calligraphy and calligraphy is drawing symbols that  means something.

Geometry Transformations

W.A.L.T find all the lines of reflection symmetry in a given shape.  I found this activity easy because I just had to put lines into shapes but i found the last slide hard.
My next step is to learn about different types of symmetry.

Tessellation

Reflection

In this task we had to accurately create a tessellation using different shapes. I decided to use parallelograms. I found making a tessellation with one shape really easy because you don't need to use different shapes to fill in the the little gaps. My next step is to use more shapes. Next time I would like to use more shapes.

I found this activity easy because I have all ready learnt about both similes and metaphors. I like this activity because it fast and easy. My next steps are to use more descriptive words.

FEATHERS FIRST

 It was hard to get information about the birds by the story. I found the Kea pretty easy to find out information about. My next steps are getting more information from the book and that there was no hints because it was only how they were talking to each other.
